Kitchen remodel prior to Selling home
Here is a beautiful Kitchen that was painted with Serenity Cottage Paint , colour used is Cloudy Day. The homeowner wanted a fresh, new look prior to putting thi s home on the market.
Here is what this client had to say about Cottage Paint:
Decided to repaint our solid oak kitchen cabinets with Cottage Paint sold by Camellia at The Camilla. She had recommended it as their line has both a paint and top coat in one.
She advised that I start with their Cottage Paint Furniture Prep and Clean which prepares the wood for the process. I did use a white primer/sealer to ensure that no oils bled thru. I also purchased the paint tray and roller with brushes which made sure that the paint went on evenly and did not leave any drip marks in the corners.
The colour we matched was Cloudy Day ..it went on easily smoothly.
It has a bit of a sheen to it, looks simply amazing. We have had comments about how incredible they look and cannot believe that they were our original ones as they are almost 20 years old and had a whitewash on them that had yellowed over the years.
We did change the backsplash to white subway tile from Pierce Floor-craft and added granite counters, plus new handles for about $80.
Incredibly happy with the advice received from Camellia and the products she uses herself and sells. She is extremely knowledgeable about working with her products and furniture. If you have not taken the short drive out to her place... I suggest you do so soon.
Oh yes.. we also decided to paint our bathroom one as well. And we did all of this with one pint of Cottage Paint!!’
